Although spirituality is generally related to religion and can be interrelated, one can be spiritual without being religious. The spiritual dimension is an essential aspect of the human being but at times we don't develop our inner self because we are "too busy" doing things for the external self. Still, what is happening in our external world is a reflection of our internal world.
